Fans of the Harry Potter franchise can rejoice. The upcoming installment of the Fantastic Beasts series, The Crimes of Grindelwald dropped a teaser trailer today. The movie takes a darker tone, both visually and narratively, concluding with the appearance of Grindelwald, portrayed by Johnny Depp.
The trailer prominently features our favorite wizarding school, Hogwarts and it's headmaster Albus Dumbledore, portrayed by Jude Law. There are other familiar faces will we see including Zoe Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, and of course, Eddie Redmayne as the protagonist Newt Scamander.
The YouTube description gives us a tease as to what we can expect from the story, "In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world." The movie will be released in both 2D and 3D on November 16, 2018. In the meantime, you can watch the trailer below.
