Beloved skate-shoe company Vans is toasting the success of Marvel and their record-breaking film Avengers: Infinity War by reworking some of their iconic stylings with the aesthetic tropes of a choice selection of superheroes.
The Old Skool silhouette is reimagined in a colour palette that harkens back to the original four Avengers: Thor, Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America. The shoe comes replete with the wings of Thor's helmet on the sides, Captain America's shield emblazoned on the back, Iron Man's chest plate on the tongue, as well as the Hulk's bold colouring on the sole.
The SK8-Hi is inspired by Black Panther, and features a tribal-esque pattern on the sole that would not seem out of place on Wakandian garb. Meanwhile, the Slip-On features images of Spider-Man in action, displaying the most indisputable connection to its source material.
