The black and orange "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1s will be releasing again next month, this time featuring a sleek satin tooling along with the premium while tumbled leather upper.
Just like the original "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1 that released in 2016, this Satin rendition is inspired by the orange and black jersey that Michael Jordan wore during an exhibition game in Italy in which he threw down a dunk that broke the backboard.
According to reports, the kicks are set to drop on Saturday, May 5 for $160, but they'll be a women’s exclusive release. That said the Satin Shattered Backboard 1s will be available in extended sizing all the way up to a women’s 12 aka a men’s 10.5.
If you're in the market for a new pair of 1s but can't fit into a size 10.5, there are still plenty of options on deck in the coming weeks, including the iconic "Shadow" colorway that is set to return to retailers this Saturday, April 14.
