Joe Budden ain't worried 'bout nothing.

Joe Budden's living his best life. Take a year chock full of controversy, hilarious encounters, memes to last you a lifetime, the ability to laugh at yourself every once in a while, and top it all off with a loving relationship and newborn child, and you'd be pretty content with 2017, too.

Notably, Joe Budden's greatest battles came up against Quality Control artists Lil Yachty and Migos, a saga that came to its latest pinnacle with the arrival of Yachty and Quavo's collaborative "Ice Tray" single, found on the QC's Control the Streets compilation album. On the cut, Quavo hops on the hook, letting out the line, "Ice tray, young nigga flooded / If a nigga hatin', call him Joe Budden (pussy)"

But seemingly unbothered, Joe Budden's response was to fire emojis under posts of the track's cover art while saluting the label's depictions of Budden and his Everyday Struggle castmates in the song's music video. Now in the most recent development, the new father has declared that when, indeed, that New Year's ball drops he'll be the one belting out "Ice tray the gang."

"I can’t thank God enough for all he did 2017," Budden penned in one tweet before going on in another to write out, "My 2017 was so lit you buggin if u think I’m not blasting “Ice Tray Da Gang” when the ball drop & dropping the beat out on the “Pussy” adlib!!!"

Looks like Joe will certainly be ushering in a new era as he most recently confirmed his split from the Everyday Struggle platform from which most of his beefs this year spawned. Odds are he'll keep doing his thing on the podcast side of things while basking in fatherhood and flipping negatives into positives.
