Bar Mitzvahs mark the coming of age of a Jewish boy, and usually, a big party is thrown with friends and family to celebrate the event. It is not news that people try and net the biggest names to perform at their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, with 21 Savage, Fetty Wap and Desiigner each making bank performing at Bar Mitzvahs. My parents certainly didn't cough up enough cash for a Lil Yachty performance when I turned 13, but some lucky kid had Lil Boat perform at his Bar Mitzvah and footage of the event was uploaded to the Web over the weekend.
Yachty made sure to give the kids a memorable show, performing his notable features on "Ice Tray," "Broccoli" and "Mase in '97," as well as his wildly successful Lil Boat cut "Minnesota." Boat pulled out all the stops to turn the crowd up, splashing water at the audience and getting involved with their mosh pit attempt, jumping along with them.
Yachty has a lot on deck for the year, promising collaborations with Quality Control labelmate Takeoff, Lil Pump, and Trippie Redd, as well as his solo follow-up to Lil Boat, Lil Boat 2. With all of the projects coming up, Boat's price may go up soon so Bar Mitzvah performances may not be as easy to come by in the future.
