Recently it was revealed that 40 Glocc is suing Game for the sum of $4.5 million over their beef this past summer, which resulted in a video circulating online of Game beating up Glocc. At first, Glocc was suing for unspecified damages, but just this past week the amount of $4.5 million came to light.
Many people were unimpressed by 40 Glocc's lawsuit and wondered why the rapper would sue Game over what was assumed to be regular street beef. Now 40 Glocc has spoken on the lawsuit for the first time, and explains why he decided to pursue it. He explains how, for Game, the video he released online and all that followed was for entertainment purposes. Glocc says that he is an entertainer, and so as an entertainer he felt he deserved compensation for the fight.
"As far as the lawsuit, I looked at it as what he did. He didn’t do that as no street shit. I looked at it more of he did it as an entertainment purpose," 40 Glocc told VLAD TV. "So if it’s an entertainment purpose, ‘Hey, I’m an entertainer. I get paid to entertain.’ You made that fake ass movie, and made a fake ass edit. Lied about everything that took part, but you did it to assassinate me. And as an entertainer I’m like I get compensated. You know I do movies. I done did movies, films, TV, videos. So I get paid to entertain on that side of it. And at the same time I seen it as like if that was some real shit and it wasn’t entertainment purposes, you wouldn’t have recorded no shit like that and put it out for that because that’s like letting the authorities know."
40 continued to explain that he believed Game only did what he did for promotion purposes, because he had his Jesus Piece album coming up.
