Post Malone is one of the most surprising success stories in the world of hip-hop. Achieving massive success from his string of singles, he has joined just Eminem as the only rappers to debut at one of the top two spots with multiple songs. Swae Lee is growing both as a solo artist and with his brother Slim Jxmmi as part of the tandem effort Rae Sremmurd. You'll remember, Swae featured on one of the hottest songs of last year, French Montana's "Unforgettable." Both Post Malone and Swae Lee could potentially be the sheer favorites to make one of the songs of the summer, and it looks like that may be happening in the near future.
Both Posty and Swae shared a photo of the two of them working together in a studio setting, getting their respective fans' attention as whispers of a possible collaboration begin to heat up. Post Malone has not yet announced the release date of his upcoming Beerbongs & Bentleys LP, which could very well feature a Swae Lee appearance. With Swae's solo single "Hurt To Look" gaining traction with listeners, they may be working on a track for Swaecation, which was rumored to be dropping last month.
Whether this photo means anything or not, it's exciting to see two of the brightest young talents working together to create something that, hopefully, is extremely sonically pleasing. Maybe we will get the hear the products of their studio session on one of their upcoming projects.
