The former University of Alabama student does not have her mother on her side.

Just yesterday we posted on the 19-year-old University of Alabama student whose videos on Instagram went viral after she used racist terms on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Harley Barber's video showed her standing in front of a running tap saying, "we do not waste water...because of the poor people in Syria." She then added" "I love how I act like I love black people,” before adding a few insensitive racial slurs.

Harley was expelled from the Univerity of Alabama where the school followed up with a statement saying "we hold our students to much higher standards, and we apologize to everyone who has seen the videos and been hurt by this hateful, ignorant and offensive behavior."

Harley's mother recently spoke with the New Jersey.com (the city Harley resides from) saying she stands behind the school giving her daughter the boot.

"I agree with the punishment. I fully support their decision," Jill said. "This is not a reflection of how she was raised. She's just degrading herself and it breaks my heart. I hope someone can look at this and learn. I don't want anyone to feel what I feel."

After Harley was kicked out of her university and sorority she released an apology to the New York Post saying: "I did something really, really bad. I don’t know what to do and I feel horrible. I’m wrong and there’s just no excuse for what I did.”
