Nothing lasts forever, and sometimes its best to call it quits before everything starts to go downhill. A good example would be The Walking Dead, whose ratings have steadily fallen since the introduction of Negan.
After four seasons, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is coming to a close. The hit Netflix series will be releasing the first half of season four on May 30, and it will feature six episodes. The second half, which features seven episodes, will be released at an undisclosed date. According to Deadline, the show creators are planning to release a movie after season four is complete.
Allegedly, producer Universal Television and Netflix are still in talks regarding the movie, and no details have been finalized. The writers of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, will be attached to the film as well. The series was the first original half-hour comedy show that the streaming site premiered, and it became and an immediate classic. Although ending after four seasons seems like the series wasn't as popular as it is, Deadline reports that the cast and creators felt like it was time to conclude the story.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane.
