It looks like Big Sean has a new place to call home. On Tuesday, TMZ published a story reporting that the Detroit rapper just purchased a new home in Los Angeles for a cool $8.7 million dollars. And it doesn’t happen to be just any home, the house Sean just copped used to be owned by former Guns N Roses’ guitarist Slash, who’s wife put it on the market after filing for divorce back in 2014.
Originally listed at $11 million, Sean was able to get a pretty rock star discount and get them down to $8.7 million as previously mentioned. The house consists of 7 bedrooms, 8 baths, and is 11,000 sq. ft., located in Beverly Hills, California. It also consists of a home theater, backyard pool/volleyball court and in-house stripper pole as well.
Funny enough, Slash was represented by Josh and Matt Altman of "Million Dollar Listings: LA," along with Jordan Cohen. Meanwhile Sean worked with Kevin Crane and Kofi Nartey. No word yet as for when Sean will officially close on the pad and move in, but it’s safe to assume he’ll be out in Los Angeles early 2018, if not next month.
Moving out West will allow Sean and LA girlfriend Jhene Aiko to continue to do their thing and get stronger, while his ex-Naya Rivera is making headlines this week for a domestic battery case. Rivera supposedly struck her now-husband, Ryan Dorsey (who she married only 3 months after breaking up with Sean) multiple times while they were walking with their 2-year-old son, which ultimately caused her to be arrested.
Big Sean’s new home purchase comes about a month or so after his latest album, I Decided, was certified platinum, and only a couple weeks after dropping off the new song “Pull Up N Wreck” with Metro Boomin.
