Westbrook and The Greek Freak will get signature sneakers.

Nike CEO Mark Parker announced several plans for the Nike and Jordan Brands in the upcoming year yesterday, which includes signature shoes for two of the NBA's biggest stars.

According to Parker, both Russell Westbrook and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be receiving their own signature sneakers in 2018.

Westbrook, the face of Jordan Brand's ever growing line of Air Jordans, already has his own lifestyle sneaker but the reigning NBA MVP does not currently have his own on-court signature. Antetokounmpo, who signed with Nike just months ago, was also guaranteed his own sneaker as part of the deal.

Speaking at Nike's Q2 earnings call on Thursday, Parker said,

“In the next several weeks alone, we’ll deliver the next version of the industry’s biggest signature shoe with the Kyrie 4,” said Parker. “We’ll build on the incredible first year of Paul George’s signature shoe with the PG2. We’ll introduce an all-new Flyknit construction with Kobe’s next performance design. And Jordan Brand will launch its first signature shoe with reigning MVP Russell Westbrook. We’re also thrilled to expand our relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo as we bring his unique personality to life through new signature product and storytelling next year.”

We know that Westbrook's shoe will be under the Jordan Brand umbrella, while the Greek Freak's will be a Nike Basketball product, though specific details regarding what's in store have not yet been announced.
