Youngboy Never Broke Again just released a revamped version of his 2018 album Until Death Call My Name. The result is two additional one of which we're bearing witness here, the other "Rich N****s" featuring Lil Uzi Vert. On "RIP" NBA Youngboy is musing with no one, he most likely is running up his lyrical body count. "RIP" isn't the learned track you were expecting from a young person looking to repent. NBA falls back on instinct, but make no mistake about it, NBA isn't a gangster or a dead walker, his music is a jerk reaction to falling asleep.
Offset brings a far different energy to song, his style more methodical than NBA's more impulse-driven barrage of lyrics. What Offset adds to "RIP" is an overall sense of paranoia disrupting his decision making process. The Migos member doesn't mince his words, comparing the game to pack full of hyenas. Of course, Offset has had to interact with different stratas of society, and the interchange can really take a toll on one's sense of self. Thankfully both NBA and Offset are well aware of their potency and what they bring to the table. "RIP" is nothing short of a bangerino.
Quotable Lyrics:
RIP RIP
Don't pay these b****s
I only fuck for free
RIP RIP
Dead Prez's
I'm on a killing spree
