After some delays, Tinashe is getting ready to roll out her proper sophomore album JOYRIDE. Earlier this week, the L.A. R&B singer released the second single from the project, "Faded Love." The song features a guest appearance from Tinashe's previous collaborator, Future, as well as production from Stargate, the duo behind Aquarius' "All Hands On Deck." The official video for the single has now been released exclusively to American Spotify users and can be viewed here.
The solo dance video is shot vertically, rather than horizontally, and is best viewed on a phone. According to the singer, it will be released on VEVO at a later date.
"Faded Love," follows "No Drama," the first single from JOYRIDE, also produced by Stargate and featuring Migos rapper Offset. Tinashe released the equally dance-centric video for the single last month.
Earlier this year, Tinashe hinted at three singles, two of which have been released, with the final title being "Me So Bad," a song rumored to feature Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana.
In 2016, Tinashe shared NIGHTRIDE, a precursor to JOYRIDE which is said to represent the darker side of the singer's music. JOYRIDE is currently without a release date.
Last March, Tinashe released "Flame." In July 2016, she released "SuperLove," co-written by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. Though both singles were originally set to appear on JOYRIDE, it is not clear if they are still slated for the album.
