Lil Xan's Total Xanarchy dropped off in April that was stacked with 16 tracks, showcasing what the Redlands California artist has to offer. He's already announced his next project that's coming on June 28th, Heartbreak Soldiers, but before we get our hands on it he's showing love to his previous tape with an alternative video to "Wake Up."
The visuals come courtesy of VEVO Lift as Xan has been announced as their latest artists to showcase. The clip shows Xan in a psychiatric ward, waking up and feeling sick just as the lyrics go. Flashing lights alternate with the mood of the song where the end leaves Xan alone in the dark with just a mic in his hand.
Xan's most loved track "Betrayed" recently went platinum and as he stated in a previous interview, he knew it was a great beat the second he recorded on it.
"Everybody who was in the room when it was recorded knew it was a great song. I thought it was some of my better work, but no one ever really knows when they have a hit," he said. "When you say you have a hit, that’s never a hit usually. We didn’t throw that out thinking that this is the one that’d take me over the edge, but we definitely knew it was a good song. I was just happy with how it was received by the fans and everything. The fans are everything."
