Just like Rich Homie Quan, T.I. ain't trying to collaborate with LA Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, who just released his debut album on Wednesday called Born To Ball.
TMZ Sports caught up with the King Of South at LAX on Friday and asked him if he’d ever be down to collaborate with the rookie guard. Tip said he think its dope Lonzo made a song about his father Lavar, but says he doesn't believe Lonzo is serious enough about his craft to collaborate with.
“No, he a ball player,” T.I adamantly said when asked if he’d work with him. "He would have to establish himself and really, really put in the work as an artist, and he'd really have to dedicate himself to the arts, in order for me to take him seriously," T.I. said.
However it appeared Tip was unaware that Lonzo released an entire project this week because he kept alluding to the fact he just released one song. “Cause releasing one song aint… You can release one song tomorrow,” T.I. said to the TMZ cameraman referencing the point that anyone can release a song nowadays.
This come just hours after Rich Homie Quan said the same thing when asked if he’d be down to work with Zo. Quan told TMZ "Nah, I'd rather shoot some threes with him. Straight up," Quan said when asked if he’d collaborate with Zo. "I don't know, he got a little swag but I think he should just focus on basketball right now then rap later," he added.
