Over the past few years, things have been pretty rough for Wayne in terms of his record label dealings. While he's been in a dispute with Cash Money for a minute now, he's still dropped mixtapes and loose singles. This year, things have been a bit more quite for Wayne but that was all in preparation for his upcoming project. The rapper announced a few weeks a go that he'd be dropping Dedication 6 on Christmas day but he'll be giving fans a little teaser before that happens.
Lil Wayne hit Instagram to announce that he'll be dropping two new songs off of Dedication 6. The rapper shared the cover art for his remix of 21 Savage's "Bank Account" as well as a remix to "Blackin Out" by G-Herbo and Lil Bibby which will feature Young Money artist Euro. Wayne gave the honors of releasing the singles to two Young Money Sports athletes, Dede Westbrook of Jacksonville Jaguars and Duke Riley of the Atlanta Falcons. After sharing the cover art for both, he wrote, "Early Christmas! Follow @youngmoneyapaasports athletes @Dwestbrook11ou & @d_riley40! They will release these today."
We will officially have some new music from Wayne come this evening. It's been a minute since we got something but fans have been gearing up in anticipation of Dedication 6. The project was initially teased by his manager Cortez Bryant in November but he later said that it may never be coming out. Now that Wayne has confirmed that it's dropping, we'll be able to get some Weezy on our playlist for the holidays.
