Kennecia Posey, a woman who was arrested last month for drug possession, had a unique, if not unusual reasoning for how narcotics would have been found on her person. When Posey was pulled over by Florida police, the officer who approached her vehicle could smell marijuana coming from inside.
After performing a routine check, authorities were able to locate bags of cocaine and marijuana in Posey's purse. When asked about why she had the drugs in her possession, the accused admitted that the pot definitely belonged to her, but was baffled as to how the cocaine ended up on her person. According to the police report, Posey allegedly admitted "I don't know anything about any cocaine. It's a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse."
The officer eventually detained the woman, and she was charged with one felony count of cocaine possession and misdemeanour count for marijuana possession; Posey was eventually released on bond.
This is definitely one of the most ridiculous and least believable excuses ever to be told to authorities in the hope of avoiding any legal penalties.
