Nicki Minaj and Cardi B "seemed" to shelve their brewing beef when the two appeared alongside each other for Migos' big single, "Motorsport." Even so, some have seen Cardi B's verse there within as throwing subtle jab's Nicki's way.
Is there not enough room for us to have two female rap super stars? It seems fans on either side aren't with it. And possibly Nicki, too. Cardi B is currently gearing up to release her much anticipated new single, "Bartier Cardi," featuring 21 Savage, at Midnight. While we wait to see whether or not it can eclipse "Bodak Yellow," Cardi hopped on a song from Latin artist Ozuna for his single "La Modelo," which was released in music video format two days ago, and that same day, she appeared in the music video for G-Eazy's "No Limit."
With these two visuals out, Cardi B seems to have inadvertently, or not, fueled fodder for the internet. Nicki Minaj fans have dissected the videos to no end, and have concluded thusly: Cardi B is stealing Nicki's swag-- facial expressions and beyond. Yup.
First, check out the two new music videos below:
Nicki Minaj tweeted "I’m glad y’all peeped," which fans are taking as a response to the fact that Cardi has apparently co-opted all of Nicki's aesthetics. Fans of the Queen Barbz have showered her with support in response, while some are standing up for Ms. Cardi.
