The Los Angeles Lakers picked up a 127-113 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers last night and Isaiah Thomas had exactly the kind of game that a player hopes to have against a team that recently traded him away. However, the Lakers' point guard said it wasn't a "revenge game."

After the victory, in which Thomas scored 20 points, dished out nine assists and grabbed five rebounds, he told reporters the following.

"I only played 15 games with the Cavs, so it wasn't like it was a revenge game," Thomas said, according to Cleveland.com. "I keep saying the world knows what I bring, so I don't got to play so good just to show them what they gave away. It's nothing like that. I have really close friends on that team, and those guys are great guys, they just made a business decision, and I'm trying to move on ... for the most part."

Despite rumors that Thomas has "no love" for Cavs All-Star LeBron James, there were no signs of bad blood before, during or after the game. Thomas embraced with several of his former teammates, including LeBron, prior to tip-off.

With last night's win, the Lakers improved to 30-36 on the season but are still a long shot to make the playoffs sitting 6.5 games back of the eighth seed. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, dropped to fourth in the Eastern Conference, just a half game back of the Indiana Pacers.
