St-Louis rapper J'Demul gets the big league assist from Smoke DZA, the NY rapper known for his intelligent bravado. The two rappers share plenty in common except age and appearance, but the latter is less prearranged. Both DZA and the young St-Louis marksman hold the notion of authenticity high in their rung of ideas. DZA born to Guyanese parents in NYC, literally jail broke out of high school to purse his vocational interest in rap.
On "No More," J'Demul, relatively new to the scene, hints at hidden powers he has so far reserved for himself, for chances on the perimeter feel too limiting for someone with his scope of knowledge. As DZA describes in the second verse, rappers do more pump faking and less flexing. J'Demul hopes to follow a stringent line of rappers extolling values of the past into the music of today.
Quotable Lyrics:
Ask about me
Been n**** since my younger days
Could have been rich at like 20
But i'm too stuck in my ways
I see Kendrick touch 50k
That shit fucked me up
