At the end of last year, 18-year-old Philly rapper Zero broke onto the scene with his Paradise Campground mixtape, the biggest track off which was a collab with Tory Lanez titled "All the Time." He's now back with his new single, "Exposition," which finds him linking up with Lanez' go-to producer in Play Picasso.
Once again, Zero's flow has a likeness to Eminem, though considering his immense talent, that's a compliment. He can get diabolical with his non-stop lyrical attacks, but he tends to focus on his street-level surroundings, making his raps suited to dark, trap-inspired beats like this one from Play Picasso. Zero is certainly positioning himself as one of Philly's leading young acts. He'd do well to score some more Picasso productions.
With "Exposition," Zero has announced a new project set to drop next month. Stay tuned.
