Back in July, ATL producer Zaytoven cleared up rumors that Drake would be featured on Future’s Beast Mode 16 project (which he says he will be), and now he just revealed some more details on the long awaited mixtape. In a new interview with Vlad TV, Zaytoven confirmed that Future’s Beast Mode 16 project is completely finished.
Zaytoven went on to say that the two are continuing to work on new music, but if it came to it, they have enough quality tracks to put together the follow up to last year’s Beast Mode.
“I was with Future maybe three weeks ago, and he was saying, like, you know, ‘I want to keep recording songs, but if it came to it, I needed to drop right now, we done. I’m confident in what we got right now to drop another Zaytoven and Future project.'” Zaytoven told DJ Vlad. “We’re really done. But we keep working though. Future’s the guy, like, where if I send him some beats while he on the road and there’s a pack of beats that he really like, if there’s a new vibe or new wave, he's like man, keep feeding me more. Feed me more of this every day."
Unfortunately, Zay didn’t give us any time frame as for when the project might drop, all we know is that it’s “done,” and that Drake is expected to be on it.
