Young Thug talks on working with Kanye West and his label situation with Future's Freebandz imprint.

Young Thug's stock continues to rise, with hits like "Danny Glover" and "Stoner" currently receiving freestyle and remixes galore, not to mention a co-sign from Kanye West when he was seen turning up and singing along to Thug's hits at a club in Paris. With all this attention, labels will certainly come calling, and some already have.

Young Thug spoke on his relationship with Kanye West (it turns out the two have locked in studio time already) and what his current label situation is like in a recent Q&A with Complex.

While it's been rumored that the ATLien signed to Future's Freebandz imprint, hopping from his former 1017 home, Young Thug says nothing is actually official yet. "It’s not happening yet, I don’t know if it’s gonna happen. Future said he wants to give me $1.5 million so you know how that goes. It just hasn’t happened yet," Young Thug said.

Thug offered praise for Yeezus during the interview, and revealed he's been to Ye's home already.

"I mean, I went to his house and we did a couple of songs," Thug revealed. "The fact that I was [making songs] so fast amazed him too, because he doesn’t see a lot of people who rap like that. I don’t really rap with a lot of people [because] everyone raps the same way. When I first heard he wanted to know who I was and do songs, I was smiling ear to ear like a clown."

We're definitely interested in hearing what those records sound like. Young Thug also declared Lil Wayne a big influence, "I hope Wayne is listening, I want to get in the studio with Wayne more than anybody in the world," he said.

Finally, Young Thug confirmed what he's currently working on. There's joint effort with Rich Homie Quan, Rich Homie Thug, which will likely drop first, and then we'll get his HiTunes solo effort. There's also a mixtape in the works with Chief Keef. Which one are you looking forward to the most?
