Young Thug is an unpredictable force in hip hop. Out of nowhere, we have a new track from the Atlanta emcee. “Best Thing Of All Time” is a tribute track, presumably for his girlfriend. At this point, the only way to describe a song like this is classic Thugger. He defies most other description.
The lightweight, airy trap of the beat meshes will with Thug’s lilting vocals. It’s vaguely Caribbean, and Thug matches that in his vocals, which at times during the chorus sound island-tinged. There’s no word whether this track is attached to a larger project, but we’ll take it for what it is.
