Young Thug, who recently delayed his mixtape Slime Season, is now facing another setback: he was arrested this morning.
The alien-voiced MC was arrested by U.S. Marshals who were executing an outstanding warrant issued by Dunwoody police, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports. Jim Joyner, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, says that Thug was arrested without incident from a home in Sandy Springs.
In a press release Joyner states, "Williams was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats stemming from an incident that occurred with the jurisdiction of the Dunwoody police."
The rapper will be transported to DeKalb County jail for his initial court appearance and bond hearing. No further information was provided on the circumstances surrounding the terroristic threats that incited the arrest warrant, so if that comes to light we will update you.
