I Know

The rap SoundCloud community can feel very small sometimes. One dive into say, Pollàri's stream, and you're sure to run into a host of other related artists, many of which show up on this new record, "I Know". The stacked cast of Y2k, Lil Aaron, Pollàri, and josh pan, make for an interesting mash of styles, as giant synth brass sounds punctuate the infectiously repetitive hook, before things are taken down into outsider R&B territory in the final moments, with a chorus of vocals coming strangely close to precious boy band harmonies before the punishing riff enters once again. SHEESH.
