Wifisfuneral and Ugly God connect on "WYA (Remix)."

A while back, Florida rapper Wifisfuneral released the underrated Boy Who Cried Wolf mixtape, which featured a solid blend of modern Soundcloud rap and excellent lyricism and flows. It even delivered a blistering response to the ever-critical Joe Budden, who once laughed at Wifi's seeming inability to deliver bars. Now, Wifi's project has undergone an official retail release, meaning it can now be found on Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, and more. And luckily for fans, this latest update features an additional bonus track called "WYA (Remix) featuring none other than certified meat-beater Ugly God

While his Booty Tape was met with less than stellar reviews, there are many (myself included) who feel as if Ugly God still has a solid album in him, provided he can focus up and shake the stress of label deadlines. After all, dude is undeniably talented, and has carved out a niche as an entertaining presence in the game. It's good to see that he comes through in fine form on "WYA," delivering a verse that may start with a hint of romance, but quickly deviates into an Eminem-worthy level of possessive behavior. However, since it's Ugly God, it's hard to tell where reality ends and the humor begins.

Many will be quick to brush Boy Who Cried Wolf to the side, sweeping Wifisfuneral under the proverbial rug as another Soundcloud rapper. While perhaps he has used the platform to elevate the reach of his music, his mixtape does feature a raw sound that's sure to please fans of lyrical rap, lo-fi rap, and underground rap alike. If "JoeBuddenProbablyThinksICan'tRap" can't convince you, than maybe the smooth "WYA (Remix)" can do the trick. Thanks Ugly God!

Quotable Lyrics

Now we barely even talk, you put my feelings in a vault
I'm comin' clean, baby girl, just bein' honest
Truthfully, I really tried my best, but you packed your shit and left
Damn, why the fuck you break a pinky promise?
