You can now watch T.I.'s politically challenging new short film, Us or Else, which aired on BET last month.
The 15-minute film is released in support of Us or Else: Letter to the System, the double EP that Tip dropped in December (following the original Us or Else EP in September). A couple of music videos from Us or Else: Letter to the System tracks are worked into the new film, which deals with a community's response to the police killing of an unarmed black man.
T.I. plays three characters -- a friend of the victim's, a police officer, and a preacher. They each must fuse their individual perspectives in order to join forces in the fight against systematic oppression. Appearances in the film come from R&B singer Charlie Wilson as well as Hustle Gang artists like London Jae, B.o.B, Young Dro, Translee, and more.
