So far, Netflix has released three Marvel superhero shows: Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Luke Cage. They’re on their way to adding a fourth New York City-based superhero show this spring with the unveiling of Iron Fist.
The show tells the story of Danny Rand, heir to a massive corporation who goes missing as a child in a plane crash that also kills his parents. When he returns to New York as a martial arts guru, he’s met with a changed company and some insidious forces working behind the scenes. They even got martial arts fanatic and Wu-Tang Clan member RZA to direct an episode.
Rosario Dawson makes an appearance (she’s in all the Netflix Marvel shows). Iron Fist will be joining up with the other Netflix superheroes for a Marvel Defenders show in the near future, but for now you can catch Danny Rand and his fists of iron on March 17. Watch the trailer below.
