Back in January, Wale announced a new album by the name of Shine, giving us the name only and no other details, and now we've got a slight update. In an interview with Complex at SXSW, the MMG rapper spoke on his upcoming fifth album and gave some additional hints about two more new projects.
First off, Shine is apparently an acronym that stands for "Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy," and it's about 80% complete. Kehlani and Nez & Rio are involved, but there's no release date yet. In addition, Folarin said that he'll "for sure" have another solo album out in 2016, and will also executive produce MMG's upcoming group project Self Made Vol. 4.
