Wale and Meek Mill both have anticipated projects in the works, but they also have a project they're working on together in the pipeline, which we may be getting just in time for the back-to-school grind.
While Wale and Meek were on the red carpet at the Grammys they spoke to Vibe TV. When asked about a joint mixtape, Wale confirms that there is one happening, and it might arrive as soon as summer time. "Y'all might get that this summer too. Back to school stalk. We know what that's gunna do for the east coast," Wale said.
Wale continued to discuss his own LP, mentioning that he is about to start working with producer No I.D., "I'm about to get it in for a couple of days with No I.D., working on the album." Wale said of his third studio album that it will resemble his first, "My third album, it's gunna be reminiscent of my first album, Attention Deficit, a lot of musicality in it. I'm bringing back guys from the 90s that I looked up to. I'm excited about that."
Fellow MMG rapper Meek Mill also discussed his solo mixtape, Dreamchasers 3. He's hoping for an April release date."I'm about 40% done, I think we're gunna drop it around April, DC3."
