We all know Waka Flocka Flame goes hard in the paint, but who knew that he considers airports "the paint"? The Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was arrested this morning when TSA in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport found a loaded handgun inside of his luggage.
Waka didn't have a permit for his gun, so he was charged with Carrying a Weapon in a Prohibited Place and promptly taken to Clayton County Jail. TMZ broke the news earlier today.
Before this, Waka's criminal record was relatively clean, with his only other reported arrest coming in 2011 after authorities raided his house and found drugs and firearms.

[Update: Waka's Rep Makes Statement]
Waka Flocka's mom & rep, Debra Antney, tells TMZ it was all a big mistake. According to Deb, Waka accidentally grabbed his fiance's bag which contained the gun in it. She explains that they're in the process of moving and this is how the mix up occurred.
Also, TSA took to Instagram this afternoon and posted a picture of the pistol that was found in Waka’s bag. (see gallery above).
What do you think? Do you believe Deb?
