Day Zero's

Brick Squad comes through with a big club record: "Day Zero's."

After dropping a few cuts with Young Sizzle (aka Southside) for their upcoming joint tape, Waka Flocka is back with a new track featuring another talented member of Brick Squad Monopoly, the lesser-known K-SO. Their collab, "Day Zero's," is one for the club, and it features bumping production from DJ Baby Gold Jesus.

Yup, that's his name, and on "Day Zero's," he mixes the West Coast Mustard sound with elements of Atlanta trap -- and the effect is potent. (The beat also seems to make use of the sample from Jay Z's "Show Me What You Got).

Waka and K-SO know that their day zero's, even more so than their day one's, are the guys they wanna be celebrating with when things get all the way turnt. Waka's bars here are calmer than usual, but still spat with a mean energy that should encourage shots to the face. It's unclear if K-SO rocks the chorus here as well as the second verse (both hard) -- regardless, he's certainly a new weapon for the Brick Squad fam.

Who's turning up to "Day Zero's"?

Quotable Lyrics

Two-steppin' in the club with a hot gun
Real n*gga, you are not one
Got my day zero's with me
Set trip, they gon' drop somethin'

- Waka Flocka
