Well here it is. Following up last week’s early NPR release, Vic Mensa’s highly anticipated debut album, The Autobiography, is now officially available on iTunes & streaming platforms.
Laced with 15 tracks in total, the project formerly known as Traffic features guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Chief Keef, Pharrell, Syd, The-Dream, Joey Purp & more. Meanwhile, Chicago’s own No ID serves as the project’s executive producer, with assistance coming from 1500 Or Nothin, Mike Dean, Kosine, Smoke Ono, & more.
"There were certain things I was able to tap into on this album that I had never really been able to vocalize," Mensa says, "certain thought processes and emotions that I had never really been able to translate through words."
"I just wanted to make music that really spoke to the true me, me as a 12-year-old kid falling in love with hip-hop.”
Available on iTunes, fans can now stream the debut from Vic in its entirety via Apple Music.
