Vado's been taking a liking to Lil Wayne's recent material in the past few weeks. After freestyling over Weezy and Drake's Boi-1da and Vinylz-produced "Believe Me" beat last week, the Harlem MC has just shared a "Street Mix" of Rick Ross and Lil Wayne's "Thug Cry."
The original song appeared on Rozay's Mastermind as the last track, with The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League's dope production setting the tone for heavy-hitting, somber verses. This time around, Vado spits the initial verse, and leaves Rozay and Weezy's parts intact. It's a relatively short addition to the track, but Vado's bars add some New York flare to the previously-Southern track.
Quotable Lyrics:
Cars like chrome four-fifth, I don't miss
Make you pee in a cup and drink your own piss
When I'm re'ing it up, I cop my own bricks
I'm grown miss, wrist Rocky like Stallone flicks
