The USA Men's Basketball roster for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio is officially official. LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook will NOT be participating this year but there's no shortage of star power on USA's 12-man roster.
The guards: Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan
The forwards: Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes
The centers: Demarcus Cousins and DeAndre Jordan
The squad will beginning training in Las Vegas on July 18th with a handful of exhibition games taking place in Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Chicago and Houston throughout the month before they depart for Rio.
The Olympic hoops will officially tip off on August 6th and conclude on the 21st, with gold medals around the necks of the aforementioned 12-man roster.
