It was back in May of this year, that Tupac Shakur's Hummer went for an impressive $336,000 in an auction, tripling what it was slated to make.
It seems that Tupac aficionados with deep pockets have been greeted with good news as the original bidder has reportedly flaked after defaulting in collection efforts.
Now, the late rapper's outfitted Hummer, purchased a month before his death, is back on the auction block via RR Auction for one lucky, and reliable, bidder.
"Tupac Shakur's personally-owned and -driven black 1996 American Motors Hummer H1," writes the auction site. "The fully loaded vehicle was customized by the late rapper and comes equipped with a 6.5 liter, turbo diesel V-8 engine with automatic transmission, with the odometer reading 10,101 miles."
"Research on the vehicle reveals that Shakur purchased the vehicle on August 16, 1996, a little less than a month before his untimely death, a revelation which comfortably attributes this Hummer H1 as the very last vehicle the rapper would purchase in his lifetime," RR Auction continues.
"Already a classic and coveted example of civilian off-road ingenuity, this modified vehicle is further elevated by its incredible musical affiliation and proximity to Shakur's final days. An incredible piece of hip-hop history that evokes the invincible spirit of one of the rap game's true lyrical giants."
The Hummer is currently estimated to make $100,000, just as it was originally predicted in the intial auction. The auction will end on August 17th.
