Despite holding on to his underground status, Trae tha Truth has earned the respect of many of the industry's top dogs. Today, the Houston vet comes through with a star-studded collab off his forthcoming album, Tha Truth, Pt. 2, a sequel to the album he released last July. "All Good" features Rick Ross, T.I. -- Trae's boss at Grand Hustle, and Audio Push.
Such a lineup might have you thinking club banger, but quite the opposite -- the track is a downtempo lament on all the pain each rapper has experienced on his rise to the top. In the end, they say it's "all good," as there are still a handful of real ones left out there, a few of whom got together for this powerful new track.
Tha Truth, Pt. 2 is set for release on February 5. "All Good" is the album's second single, following last month's "Takers," which featured Quentin Miller.
Quotable Lyrics
Atlanta the real one
The place where you ain't gotta start a culture, steal one
Yeah, from where you can't be the man until you kill one
And a bird, he ain't shit until you deal one
