Since winning over the hearts of the alt-rap crowd with his indie-leaning mixtapes like the Elvis Costello and Smiths-spoofing This Charming Mixtape back in the late '00s, Theophilus London has remained relatively quiet. That will change on October 27th, when the quirky rapper releases his sophomore album, Vibes, which was executive produced by Kanye West.
Today, he's dropped off a track entitled "Do Girls" that was arranged by Kanye himself. It's about trying to turn a gay girl straight, so it might as well be considered London's own version of Chasing Amy.
Y'all think Vibes will live up to the Kanye co-sign?
Quotable Lyrics:
She around the way
Tall model, pretty white girl
I never discriminate
Just dated three black girls
