After we had the pleasure of premiering The Weeknd's new mix of "Often" with Ricky Rozay and ScHoolboy Q, The Weeknd continues a remix run with a fresh take on his "King of the Fall" track. It was first released just as the rapper announced his successful KOTF tour with ScHoolboy Q and Jhene Aiko.
This one features a fellow r'n'b singer, Ty Dolla $ign, and sort-of-singer-slash-rapper, Belly. It marks the second time Ty Dolla and The Weeknd have connected, the first being Ty Dolla $ign's own remix of "Or Nah." Should they collaborate more often?
Belly, aka Dablo Escobar, has been working on his mixtape lately, The Greatest Dream I Never Had 2, and considering he's signed to The Weeknd's XO imprint, it was only right to feature him on this mix and introduce him formally to all the XO fans out there.
Quotable Lyrics
Dab by the slab got you feeling like it's opium
XO, bad hoes they call me Dablo
Esco, unless it's money me no hablo
Still wish I could have you
Now I wish you would leave
Got niggas paying your rent
You keep a trick up your sleeve
Money hidden in the walls like it's insulation
Couple Asian bitches, we call it orientation
