For anyone who was afraid Brooklyn’s The Underachievers might be splitting up after AK released a second solo project last year, those fears can be put to rest. The Lords of Flatbush just released “Final Destination,” the first track they’ve dropped in 2017.
AK and Issa Gold haven’t lost a step on the track, which has the two emcees spitting extended verses about their ascendance in the rap game. A quiet guitar riff carries the beat behind a smatter of snares and high hats. The track is from the duo’s upcoming project Renaissance, which doesn’t have a release date yet.
