The Underachievers Announce Sophomore Album & Tour

The Underachievers are back at work, with a new album and a tour on the way.

AK The Savior and Issa Gold, aka The Underachievers, are teaming up once more for their sophomore album. The album's title was announced today, Evermore - The Art of Duality, along with accompanying tour dates of the U.S. and the U.K. We're sure fans will welcome this news, as it's been a minute since the duo released music together. They teamed up with fellow Flatbush natives, The Flatbush Zombies, for Clockwork Indigo last year, and both AK and Issa released solo efforts a year ago as well.

Their 15-track second album, which a press release states was recorded in Los Angeles rather than their native NYC, will be released via RPM MSC this Fall. We'll get to hear the first single this coming Friday, July 10th ("Take Your Place"). Along with the single, tickets for "The Forevermore Express World Tour" will go on sale. The tour kicks off in October, and will feature special guests Pouya & The Buffet Boys, Kirk Knight & Bodega Bamz.
