Los Angeles Clippers' owner Steve Ballmer was there to hype the crowd up.

The Los Angeles Clippers underwent a massive re-brand as soon as new owner Steve Ballmer came aboard. The results were not exactly excellent, as the team ditched their classic cursive logo for a weird boxy design.

Apparently, the team wasn’t done overhauling its image. Last night Steve Ballmer was on the court for the Clippers’ home game against the Brooklyn Nets to unveil the team’s new mascot. As Ballmer hyped the crowd, Chuck The Condor descended from the rafters. To be honest, Chuck looks a little like Toucan Sam’s cousin.

There was a lot of speculation about what direction the Clippers would go in, since the team has never had a mascot before. The team is named for a particularly fast kind of boat, but the team opted for something a little more kid-friendly than an inanimate object. Let us know what y’all think about Chuck The Condor in the comments.
