The Game showered his fellow Compton native Kendrick Lamar with praise upon the release of last month's DAMN. "I studied the album and I'm proud of you homie," he wrote in a lengthy Instagram post in tribute of K-Dot's third LP. Game said that DAMN. gave him motivation for his next project, Westside Story, which will apparently be his final album. He began working on Westside Story tonight, and he brought with him to the studio none other than Kung Fu Kenny.
Earlier tonight, Game put up a picture of him and Kendrick grabbing a bite to eat -- confirming their Westside Story collaboration in the process. "Excuse my eyes... I'm high as a giraffe pussy," Game began the caption. He then revealed that they would soon be hitting the studio to begin working on Westside Story.
If he indeed shows up on Westside Story, it will be the third time that Kendrick Lamar has featured on an album from The Game. He appeared on 2011's The R.E.D. Album ("The City") and on 2015's The Documentary 2 ("On Me"). In both cases, Kendrick guested on the track that comes after the intro. Though it seems that Westside Story is still in its beginning stages, Game said last month that the album was "coming soon."
