Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder hit us with their joint Indie 500 project back in November, and today, they've decided give one of the album's highlights, "Pay Ya Dues," a proper video release. Celebrating MLK Day right, Talib and 9th are joined by West Coast collaborators Problem and Bad Lucc, who find an appropriate middle ground with the producer's loop-based production. Everyone rises to the challenge, to the point that it's difficult to pick a favorite verse.
The video itself keeps it simple and stylish as we see the rappers perform as half-silhouettes and their lyrics fly towards the viewer. Listen to to the full Indie 500 project here.
