YG's Def Jam debut, My Krazy Life hits stores today, and simultaneously, it's hit Spotify for free streaming. The album of course features some heavy lifting by DJ Mustard on the production end, and grabs features from the likes of Drake, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, TeeFLii, Tory Lanez, Jeezy, Rich Homie Quan, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.
Mustard commented on the special collaborative relationship he and YG share, likeing it to that of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre in early 90s.
"We’re like family. I feel like we came together with a classic album," he said. "It’s like our generation of The Chronic, you know what I’m saying? This is Snoop and Dre all over again."
The new record shares a release date with Freddie Gibbs and Madlib's long-awaited Pinata, as well as Kevin Gates new tape, By Any Means.
