Tinashe has been keeping fans on their toes this past year as they patiently wait for her often-delayed sophomore album Joyride. But to hold them over in the meantime, the R&B singer decided to treat fans to a new project today called NIGHTRIDE, which she says will serve as a prelude to Joyride, dropping this Spring.
"I see [Nightride and Joyride] as two things that are equally the same. I think you can be a combination of things, and that's what makes people human and complex. They are equally me. I don't like to be limited to one particular thing so I want to represent that duality and that sense of boundlessness in my art," Tinashe says in an upcoming interview with Rolling Stone.
Laced with 15 tracks in total, the follow up to last year’s Amethyst features the previously heard singles “Company” & “Party Favors,” which originally featured Young Thug on it. Available now on iTunes, fans can stream the project for free in its entirety (below) via Apple Music.
