NPR has slowly but surely become a go-to destination for some of the dopest hip-hop around. Just a few weeks after scoring the official premiere of Big K.R.I.T.'s new Cadillactica album, the national media organization is now streaming PRhyme, the new collaborative album from Royce Da 5'9'' and DJ Premier.
This is Royce's first full-length project as a solo artist since 2011's Success Is Certain. Otherwise, he's kept his name in the spotlight via collaborations with Slaughterhouse. He was also featured prominently on last week's Shady XV compilation album alongside his Bad Meets Evil partner-in-rhyme Eminem.
Stream PRhyme right here and let us know what you think. Did Royce & Premier comes through with one of the year's strongest releases, or was this one missed opportunity? If you're feeling it, be sure to cop this album alongside Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V and J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive on December 9th.
