Azizi Gibson gained a legion of new fans with the first few tracks he dropped this year, including a menacing tribute to DJ Khaled as well as an unexpectedly melancholic collab with DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia. A couple of weeks after his last single, "Matrix Slave Ship," Gibson has released his new album, A New Life.
A New Life is Gibson's first full release since November's Grim Meets Evil, his joint EP with Southside of 808 Mafia. Southside grabs one more production credit on A New Life, and that track, "Issues," also features Big K.R.I.T. The rest of the production is handled by Kamandi, Millz Douglas, and Jonathan Cloud.
