When rappers decide on nostalgic titles for albums, they'll often choose the names of streets, landmarks or neighborhoods from their childhood, but Stevie Stone wanted to go back even further. His new album Malta Bend (in stores today) is named for the tiny Missouri town where his parents met, and we were lucky enough to sit down with him at Strange Music HQ to get the scoop.
Calling the project "the best thing I've ever made in my life," Stone explains why Malta Bend is so significant, both to his career and life as a whole. He breaks down collabs with Tech N9ne, Mystikal, Ces Cru, Mayday and more, all of whom were handpicked to contribute to the highly personal collection of tracks.
